Vepler — A fully normalised national archive of every UK planning application, from every local planning authority in England, Wales and Scotland, going back as far as each council's own records reach. Vepler offers (Alternative, Fundamental, Geospatial, Sentiment) — Very large and genuinely national: every planning application from every local planning authority in England, Wales and Scotland. England alone has roughly 320 local planning authorities and handles on the order of half a million applications a year, and the archive extends back as far as each council's records go, so the corpus is plausibly tens of millions of application records each carrying a full document set — with every application read five ways and every document page indexed for semantic search.
