A national electronic vehicle title, lien and registration transaction ledger. As an Electronic Lien & Title provider integrated with state DMVs, Vitu processes the titling lifecycle between lenders, dealers and jurisdictions — 77 million-plus titles managed, 65% electronically, across 7,700-plus lenders in 34 ELT-enabled jurisdictions, with 50-state reach. Each processed transaction carries VIN-level identity, title status and status-change events, lien perfection and release records, payoff and refinance events, repossession title issuance, jurisdiction and jurisdiction-specific workflow routing, registration and plate data through the fleet registration product, and fraud-check results from DLDV, NMVTIS, theft and lien-fraud screening. The byproduct is a near-real-time census of who holds legal title to, and a secured interest in, each vehicle — which for commercial fleets means observed data on truck and trailer acquisition, financing, refinance, payoff, repossession and interstate registration movement: a leading indicator of fleet capital expenditure and distress that no public source reports at VIN level.
