Derived maritime event stream

VESSELAPIManage supplier listing

Derived maritime event stream: automatically detected vessel port arrival and departure events worldwide, produced by intersecting AIS position data with defined port boundary geofences at a one-minute detection cadence. Each event carries timestamp, vessel identity (MMSI/IMO) and a UN/LOCODE port identifier. Sibling endpoints add vessel port-call history, last-port-event status (in-port versus at-sea), inbound-vessel ETA lists per port, live AIS positions, and emissions estimates. The derived product — the geofence crossing event — is the asset; the raw AIS positions underneath are aggregated from public transmissions and third-party maritime providers.

Type

Format
Tabular JSON over REST, plus webhook and WebSocket delivery for event notifications; OpenAPI-style documented endpoints with pagination
Volume
High rate, shallow store: every global port call generates an arrival and a departure event, so est. tens of thousands of events per day worldwide. Critically, the vendor states it stores only short-term history (last-port-event endpoints are limited to roughly 31 days), so total retained volume is weeks of events — on the order of low millions of records — not a multi-year archive.
Users
~200-1,000 self-serve subscribers (inferred from a $14.99-$159.99+ public price ladder aimed at developers and hobby projects as well as commercial desks; volume-priced API with no enterprise gate)

Growth
Active with a corporate transition in progress — live 2026 pricing and a announced transfer of service provision to Solward Kft (Hungary) effective 31 October 2026
Launched
~2023-2024 (developer-focused micro-API with a recent footprint; no earlier press, archive or funding history surfaced)
