Live national used-commercial-vehicle listing corpus with a derived dealer asking-price index, published alongside a weekly-refreshed trucking capacity series. The listing layer aggregates dealer inventory for Class 3–8 trucks pushed in over a documented REST API, XML/CSV feeds and SFTP, giving per-VIN records (make, model, model year, mileage, GVWR class, body type, asking price, seller/dealer). The index layer computes typical asking price by make/model/model-year from listings active in the last 180 days, reporting the middle 50% band with outlier removal and dealer-concentration controls. The capacity layer reports active for-hire, exempt-for-hire and private carrier counts plus monthly involuntary FMCSA authority revocations as a market-tightness series.
