Two-layer sanctions-compliance dataset. (1) Vessel sanctions layer: a database of 2,000+ sanctioned vessels screened against 50+ international sanctions lists (US OFAC SDN including programme-level attribution such as RUSSIA-EO14024 and UKRAINE-EO13662, Canada's Special Economic Measures Act register, New Zealand's Russia Sanctions Register (Ships), UK FCDO, EU, UN), with match type and confidence, the OFAC 50% Rule applied through beneficial-owner resolution, and — the differentiated part — cross-list lineage resolution that links a vessel to lists that publish no IMO by reconstructing its documented rename audit trail, so a current name can be matched to a UK FCDO entry recorded under a prior name. Attached per vessel: registered owner, ISM manager, classification society, P&I club, DWT, gross tonnage, year built, call sign, and a fully dated corporate-history event chain (owner changed / name changed / flag changed, with before-and-after values and dates). (2) Document layer: an AI document vault ingesting customer-uploaded charter parties, certificates, P&I and SIRE/PSC reports, auto-classifying them, extracting fields and dates, and detecting the presence or absence of BIMCO sanctions clauses. Plus a chokepoint-transit layer correlating sanctioned-vessel movements against named chokepoints over rolling windows.

Strait Up Maritime offers (Alternative, Reference, Supply Chain, Sentiment) — 2,000+ sanctioned vessels in the database, screened against 50+ international sanctions lists, each carrying full particulars, ownership/management/classification/P&I attachment and a dated corporate-history event chain; a per-vessel chokepoint-transit event stream over rolling windows; and a customer-uploaded document corpus (charter parties, certificates, P&I and SIRE/PSC reports) whose volume is per-tenant and undisclosed.
Training sanctions-evasion classifiers on the dated reflag/rename/owner-transfer event sequences (a rare, precisely-labelled positive-class corpus); entity-resolution models that must match across lists publishing different identifiers, supervised by the CONFIRMED-versus-LINKED match labels; OFAC 50%-Rule beneficial-owner inference; legal-LLM and contract-review training on the clause-extraction and citation layer, where the BIMCO sanctions-clause presence flag is a clean binary label over real charter parties; chokepoint-transit risk analytics for Hormuz and similar bottlenecks; charterer and trader onboarding automation; and benchmark data for retrieval-augmented citation quality, given the product's core claim is sourced, clause-level answers.
Coverage spans US, Other, APAC, UK; Financial Exchanges & Data, Marine Shipping; alternative, reference, supply_chain, sentiment; equities, commodities.
