PERMITSTACKA5 · direct accessManage supplier listing
A nationwide normalized building-permit corpus served as a developer API. Permits are ingested daily from city and county open-data and permit portals (in NYC's case the official Tyler Data & Insights / Socrata permit-issuance system), deduplicated and mapped into one schema, then exposed by address, contractor, category and date. The NYC slice alone indexes 5,778,487 permits with 234,429 issued in the trailing 12 months and 19,794 in the trailing 30 days, categorized across plumbing, electrical, renovation, interior remodel, mechanical, solar, HVAC, fence, roofing and new construction. Derived assets include per-address property history (roof, HVAC, solar, additions with dates and contractors in one endpoint call), contractor profiles with license, specialties, permit counts and first and last permit dates, a filing-to-issuance latency statistic (NYC median roughly 19 days), and a change feed plus webhooks on higher tiers.
