METRICELLManage supplier listing
SDK-embedded crowdsourced mobile network performance corpus (Aptus), embedded into operators' own Android and iOS apps so measurements come from live subscriber handsets at population scale: millions of passive and active tests daily covering coverage strength, data speeds, best-server/nearest-cell selection, device performance and user experience across urban, rural, indoor and outdoor settings, including remote areas drive testing never reaches. Two assets are genuinely scarce. First, the dual-SIM benchmark: because the SDK sits on devices carrying a second SIM, it captures a competitor network's performance from inside the host operator's own subscriber base, measured on the same device, same place, same moment - the cleanest competitive benchmark that exists and one that cannot be bought from the rival. Second, the surrounding measurement suite (autonomous testing, 24/7 fixed-beacon monitoring, field testing, underground and rail testing, in-building RF survey, satellite connectivity validation, drive and walk testing) means the crowdsourced layer is calibrated against purpose-instrumented campaigns, a labelled ground-truth pairing most crowdsourced datasets lack. Key rights caveat: the crowdsourced data is customer-owned by design (operators retain complete control of their data), so Metricell's licensable assets are its own commissioned benchmark campaigns, its aggregated and derived coverage layers, and its Network Status and Coverage APIs rather than the operator panels.
