Two distinct corpora, both rare. (1) A vendor-behaviour corpus: documented instances of enterprise software vendors requesting deployment telemetry, infrastructure reporting and usage data OUTSIDE formal audit rights - catalogued by presenting pretext (renewal, licensing review, customer success engagement, cloud migration discussion, product optimisation conversation, support escalation, procurement evaluation, informal compliance inquiry) and by whether the request was contractually required. The firm has trademarked the pattern as Ambush Audits, indicating a codified taxonomy built from repeated client observations. (2) An audit-outcome corpus from audit-defense engagements - vendor allegations, licensing assumptions contested, evidence accepted or rejected, settlement amounts - plus a published industry-benchmark set (a dedicated industry-benchmarks page exists on the domain).
