Environmental and hydro-meteorological observation data held inside operational infrastructure the group builds and runs: river/lake level-and-velocity gauge telemetry (HYQUANT), data-acquisition-and-telemetry networks, environmental sensor and non-contact radar measurement, fire-weather data analytics, hail-risk observations, a FieldVisits field-data-collection app, plus two explicit data products — 'Raster data as a service' and an 'Environmental cloud data hub'. The commercially interesting latent asset is not the raw gauge readings (those belong to the public agencies who own the stations) but the derived layers KISTERS necessarily accumulates: gridded raster fields it produces and resells, hail-swath/hail-risk climatologies from its agro-meteorological and hail-mapping practice, fire-weather derived indices, and instrument-level QC/calibration and telemetry-fault records generated across thousands of installed stations in many climate zones.
