Monthly materials balance sheet for Japan's wire, cable and optical-fiber industry, distributed as per-month PDFs: (1) main raw materials — copper cathode, cathode/rod copper, copper raw wire and copper scrap — as production, consumption, shipments and end-of-month inventory in tonnes with month-on-month and year-on-year ratios, reported twice over: once re-cut from government production-dynamics statistics (national) and once from the association's own member-company returns, so the gap between the two is itself a measure of non-member supply; (2) secondary raw materials and additives consumption in kilograms — natural rubber, synthetic rubber, PVC (resin-equivalent), polyethylene and vinyl plasticizer — the insulation and sheathing feedstock series; (3) energy inputs (electricity in thousand kWh, kerosene, heavy oil, LPG, city gas, LNG, light oil) with consumption and end-of-month stock split by product line (wire/cable versus optical-fiber products), yielding implied energy intensity per product category.
