IMPORTYETIManage supplier listing

A normalised, entity-resolved graph of US import shipments built on US Customs cargo-manifest records: every bill of lading carries importer company, overseas supplier, product description (both raw and normalised), HS code, arrival and shipment dates, entry and exit ports with geocodes, container types and specifications, TEU, and first-shipment dates for both importer and supplier — then assembled into resolved company and supplier profiles with bidirectional shipment lists, product-specialisation rankings of suppliers and of US buyers, and a 17-endpoint query language supporting boolean operators, wildcards and ranges. The raw manifests are public; the licensable asset is the entity resolution that links thousands of name variants to one real company and one real supplier.

Type

Format
Tabular (REST JSON, paged; MCP interface for AI agents)
Volume
Derived from the full US import cargo-manifest universe, which runs to tens of millions of bills of lading per year nationally; est. therefore hundreds of millions of shipment records cumulative across the retained history, resolved into an importer-supplier edge graph. ImportYeti's own record count and retained span are not printed in the docs and are the first figure to request.
Users
Not disclosed; credit-based self-serve accounts rather than a measured user base — est. hundreds to a few thousand API and web subscribers (inferred from a 13-person company selling credits self-serve into procurement, sourcing and analyst markets)
History
not stated
Update frequency
not stated
Growth
Active (a mature 27-endpoint REST API with a 17-endpoint PowerQuery language, response shaping, and a recently added MCP interface for AI-agent clients; self-serve credit purchasing indicates a running commercial operation)
Launched
est. 2019-2021 for the underlying product (a mature, stable v1.0 API namespace with extensive guides and a 13-person team indicates several years of operating history; exact launch year is not printed in the docs and should be confirmed from the company record). The MCP/AI-agent interface is a recent addition (est. 2024-2026).
