An append-only DAILY HISTORY of the US motor-carrier register — a carrier_delta_event stream recording, each day, which USDOT registrations were added, which carriers went inactive or left the register, plus authority-status transitions, insurance filings, and name/DBA changes. Plus a proprietary derived layer: independently reconstructed BASIC safety percentiles for PROPERTY carriers, which the regulator does not publish at all. The current-state register underneath is free public data; the day-by-day change history and the property-carrier percentile reconstruction are the parts that cannot be reconstructed after the fact.
