Monthly European steel-trade sentiment panel: an opt-in email survey of EUROMETAL member and subscriber steel distributors and traders capturing opinion on three axes — activity (demand/order flow), stocks (inventory position) and prices — compiled and published as a monthly summary report cut by sector and by geographic area. Participation requires validation of the respondent's contact, sector and market, so the panel is a verified-firm panel rather than an open poll. Latent asset is the respondent-level monthly answer series by verified sector and country, plus the association's validated map of which firm operates in which steel segment and geography.
