Eex-group offers (Price, Reference, Alternative) — Small by count, high by consequence — a weekly index across a handful of currency series with daily file publication and history since 2019, i.e. a few thousand data points in total. The value is benchmark status and continuity, not volume.

The canonical price input to every CBAM liability calculation — embedded emissions per tonne multiplied by tonnes and the year's phase-in factor, then valued at this reference price — so it is the pricing spine of importer provisioning, treasury hedging and certificate-purchase timing.
