Liner shipping capacity and service-supply dataset: vessel-deployment-based measurement of deployed ship capacity and sailing frequency for every alliance, carrier, individual service and trade route across the 12 major east-west trades (Asia-Europe, Asia-North and South America, Europe-North and South America), captured as a quarterly snapshot dated 1 January, April, July and October, with current-versus-previous-quarter capacity and percentage change plus a narrative summary of services added, withdrawn or restructured and which carriers adjusted capacity. The wider product line adds capacity history back to 2008, transit-time and service-rotation data for over 100 carriers across 60-70-plus trade routes, and a weekly service-change feed tracking vessel-sharing arrangements, capacity and rotation changes.
