The largest privately held ship-to-ship (STS) lightering operations archive in the western hemisphere: over 16,000 STS transfers completed in the US Gulf plus 750+ offshore Latin America (Uruguay and the Brazilian basin), each an operator-held record of a physical cargo transfer — the paired tanker identities, lightering area and position, mooring configuration, commodity and volume, transfer and discharge rates, weather window used, the Lightering Support Vessel deployed and its specification, and the Mooring Master and assistant crew assigned. Operations run from a dedicated Galveston base with purpose-built LSVs, so the set also carries LSV utilisation and equipment-condition history. Adjacent arms add byproduct data: dual-fuel tanker operations, conventional tanker trading, dynamic-positioning shuttle tankers serving offshore fields (a dense offshore-loading dataset), and modular capture vessels for carbon capture — so AET holds transfer, shuttle and offshore-loading event data across crude, products and now CO2.
