ClassLink's SSO layer authenticates roughly 25 million students and staff into 6,000+ apps across 3,000+ school systems, and its Analytics+ tier captures domain-level records for every website accessed on a school-owned device — including resources launched outside ClassLink — as sessions with app, domain, date, time and minutes-used, rolled up to district, school, grade, classroom and individual student. Around it sit three derived assets: Screen Time, which classifies device time into district-selected learning categories and scores session quality (healthy vs interrupted vs off-task, expected-hours adherence); Insights, which joins app usage to student assessment scores to produce per-tool, per-student-group learning-gain estimates; and licence/spend data by domain. Roster Server adds demographics (English learner, disability, economically disadvantaged) as joinable attributes on every session.
